The TV anime “Reincarnated as a Sword”, created by a production committee including GREE Entertainment, is set to begin airing on Wednesday, October 5, 2022. Exclusive online streaming will begin on September 28, one week in advance of the TV broadcast.

What if you found yourself reincarnated… as a sword?

Reborn in a mysterious world as an Intelligent Weapon, our protagonist works hard to collect skills in solitude while dreaming of finding a wielder. One day, he accidentally enters the “Withering Forest” which absorbs magical power, and finds himself completely unable to move. In his hour of need, he meets a Black Cat girl named Fran who has been exploited as a slave.

Under attack from a monstrous beast, Fran is in mortal danger. Seeing the sword sticking out from the ground right in front of her eyes, she draws him and uses his power to escape her predicament, before naming him her master and agreeing to become his official wielder.

As a new duo of adventurers, Fran and her master complete many quests while honing their skills together. Fran dreams of becoming strong enough to achieve “evolution,” while her master hopes only to fulfill the girl’s wish.
