About Sasaki and Peeps

Sasaki visits a pet shop where he buys a reincarnated sage of renown from another world. “My name is Piercarlo the Starsage, inhabitant of another world.” But he’s a sparrow. Sasaki names the adorable little thing Peeps, and their life together begins.

The sage bestows magical powers upon Sasaki, as well as the ability to cross into another world. When he’s not at work, Sasaki and his new friend are enjoying their otherworldly life to the fullest! Before long, they begin trading in this new world, using products that they’ve procured in Japan.

In this world, Sasaki earns money, receives magical training from Peeps, and eats all sorts of delicious food. This fantasy world of swords and sorcery heals his body and mind, which have been worn down by life as a corporate drone.

One day, on the way home from the office, Sasaki gets tangled up in a battle of psychics, but puts an end to it by making use of the magic that he learned from Peeps. He’s then mistaken for a psychic himself and is scouted for the Paranormal Phenomena Countermeasure Bureau.

No more life as a corporate slave! No more working for crooked companies!
However, his new stable life as a civil servant is… well, not what he expects…
A fateful meeting with one little sparrow changes Sasaki’s life forever!
